NASA's live feed. And no, there was nothing in my eyes AT ALL when confirmation of landing and then the first pictures came through. AT ALL.

A while back I was chatting to an Aussie in San Francisco doing biological engineering experimenty things trying to figure out how to keep human bone density from degrading over an eight-month trip to Mars, so that upon landing they would actually be able to physically move in gravity again. Some of their lab mice had just gone up to the ISS as part of their experiments. Freaky but amazing stuff; I love that within our lifetime we will almost certainly see a manned mission to Mars. And goodness knows what after that. The future is, as you say, an awesome place to be living.
