Heart murmers are common. results will hopefully be fine *crosses fingers*

No politics can be any more effed up than what's going on here and the Right's War on Women. We're talking serious Handmaid's Tale territory here.

Yah. Mine's just especially noisy. The annoyance is with the changed diagnosis. I was perfectly fine with the other one!

I am so never reading that book. I have no doubts whatsoever that I'd be triggered badly and would have recurring nightmares. Yeah. :( The latest from Texas is scary, scary stuff. I can understand the urge for violence in these cases, I really can.

Ugh, the medical establisment will make you worry where you had no concern before, and ignore the things that are a current concern.

Between some of them thinking that Alaska isn't a state and loudly proclaiming the environment doesn't matter, people do (paraphrased quote. Honestly where do they think people are going to LIVE?) and them saying that if you're under s certain tax bracket you and your spouse should abstain from sex. And it's just...the lack of common bloody sense...and just arrgh...

If you haven't read Handmaid's Tale by now, don't. I almost wish I never did. I got triggered by shit I didn't realise was a trigger way back when in my early teen years.

... ... ... wow. Batshit. Seriously. I just. Cannot even with the hypocrisy and the severe amounts of control they want to enact whilst screaming about smaller government and... *sigh*

Yeah. That's what I've been figuring. I have no doubt it's brilliantly written but on these sorts of topics, that's a liability to my brain. And then of course I just read the ILU-486 short story which was compared to Handmaid's Tale and I'm all.... ARGHYSHUDDER.

Oddly enough, the Handmaid's Tale (while bothering me tremendously) wasn't anything to what I felt when you talked about your MRI experience. An hour and a half in the tube. ShuddershuddershudderSHUDDER. I had three MRIs last year (which pretty much told us what WASN'T wrong with me) and discovered I am SERIOUSLY claustrophobic. The only thing that kept away the panic attacks was the fact that they have these glasses that they give you that have mirrors pointing out the back, where there's a window showing trees and sky. Brilliant. And then having shots on top of that? Very traumatized (omg, I spelled that with an 's' first) here, now. :)

I have a long torso, too, and most swimsuits fit me the same way. I've had one for several years that I got from Speedo. It was cut for "long torso" and it's the best fitting swimsuit I've ever had.
