I just heard that on the news. I thought it was a joke at first. It's weird because in the last couple of years I've had a thought that bin Laden was a made up person by the Bush administration to cover up that they were involved in 9/11

Look, I wouldn't put a lot past governments being savvy enough to fine tune the sort of controls in the media to manipulate the way people think. Happens all the time. Orwell was right.

I've never thought he was made up (ooh! the boogeyman!). I'm just glad that Obama stressed again that this wasn't a war with Islam, just with terrorism. I... *hands* dunno.

The thing that's driving me crazy is that detractors are already saying stupid crap like "Well, isn't this well timed?" (upcoming election), and "Where's the body?" and my personal favorite "I'm surprised he [Obama] let them kill his brother." *rage*

I hate partisan politics in this country.
