Sorry, I think you're mistaken, I haven't had a Comcast account since I lived in the apartment. I do know you had an account while you lived here with me, but I was under the impression you were taking care of that and cancelling things when you decided to move.
Well I guess it was my mistake for trusting you with that. I expected that since you were paying the bills that you would terminate the service honorably.
Well I will try posting a comment to the original post. I would like to think that you just didn't get the others and that you aren't receiving comments to comments.
Actually I only come around LJ about once every 3 weeks and the email this thing dumps into I only check once every month, sometimes not that often.
As for Comcast's equipment, I do not have it. They called and requested it be returned LONG ago, as in at least over a year ago, and I'm inclined to think more along the lines of closer to two. I seem to recall it wasn't too long after you decided to stay in Arizona, which was why I presumed you had taken care of your account. It was in your name and they brought by the original receipt from where you signed for the equipment, so while I could not technically sign off on it, I believe I did ask them to leave a receipt that they had indeed picked it up, in case you needed it. However, as I stated before, this was quite some time ago.
Well the account finally terminated in August of that next year (2004), so it was under use for about nine months afterward. You are listed as authorized to access the account and make any alterations.
So you don't think you would be able to find that receipt? They claim the account was delinquent for a couple months after the last paid bill (that August I mentioned).
If you'll also recall up until that point you were still indicating to me that you intended to return. I truly do not desire to sit around bickering over the details with you. Quite simply you were aware of the account, you signed for the equipment, you indicated to me that it would be taken care of, and it is your responsibility.
