My friend Brenda and I call them man-childs.

It is one of the most apt descriptions.

You are also a better person than I. The first time I opened the door, I would inquire about their keys. The second, I would pretend not to see them and walk away with something very important to do.

Our door at work is set to autolock but there is a hidden key for it. The tech super will lock herself out and want us to open the door, she will also rail on the handle. I put my music on and when she asks if I heard...nope.
Same thing with people who knock on our external door. People aren't supposed to use it and are meant to go around, I won't answer it.
I'm a bitch. What can I say?

Can't even begin to tell you how much I agree. We had a new door installed with a *gasp* lever handle instead of a round one. For several weeks bossman would just stand at the door, jiggling the handle and wondering aloud why it was locked until one of us would get up and turn the handle a few degrees until it would open. This man owns the company and is in charge of life-altering decisions.
