It's me! Well, ok, I probably think I'm way more exciting than anyone else, but eh. Anyway, I read it! And I really enjoyed the subtle humor (especially about Catherine being the only one who would still wear makeup after all those hours!). Good work!

HOLY SHIT!!!! Someone I have admired from the moment I first started reading fan-fiction read one of my stories and commented. Thank you. This was my very first. I read it now and think how tame it was and how scared I was when I finally got the nerve to put it up for inspection.

I think I got better as I went along; especially with 'Life Changes' and 'Dig the Hole Wide and Deep'. I learned how to research my facts and look for odd bits to make the stories more authentic but I think everyone remembers their first with affection.

Awww! Thank you and you're very welcome.

I have your stories on my list to read (it was Dig The Hole Wide and Deep that I've heard the most about). I was in and out for the last few days, and I hate to start a story and then leave it, so I'm waiting for a day when I have it all to myself to do what I will.

And I don't know what I feel about my first. Although, it's weird, because today I was driving in my car thinking "gosh, I bet you if I read Ricochet or something, it would be like reading a totally new story"... but, I remember my first story as clear as day. I'm not sure why that is. I don't know if its something I look on with affection, though I know that it does have a special place in my heart that even others that I would consider better works, or favored plot lines could ever have.

God I'm so glad we're on E-mail because I can tell you something without blushing my self into a 3rd degree burn. I have read 'Richochet' so many times I almost know it by heart. I DO know the last line of the first chapter; "Fuck you Stokes“ and Nick kind of wished he would.

For some reason, I think that has to be one of the best sentences in our genre. It expresses longing, and frustration and desire and it does it in 10 words AND they are all one syllable words at that. That was what hooked me on fan fiction right there. For some reason, I always thought that writers were a specie apart from normal folk but you weren't a professional, you said you were new and yet in 10 words you conveyed an 6 year relationship with all the crap that goes along with it.

Have you given up on 'Lies in the Dark'? I hope not, it was really well received and I know I'm not the only one who would love to see them work their way out of the mess you've got them in.
