If you have years of school/studying ahead of you, it might be worth it to check out this book: "The Buzan study skills handbook" by Tony Buzan. I usually think things like that are utter cr@p, but desperate times call for desperate measures (pre-courses in Chemistry, Physics and Biology - how scary is that), and i'm in the process of learning the techniques. I'm already seeing results! Makes it way easier to remember stuff.
