Ahaha Torchwood: The Lost Files.

After listening to The Eagle of the Ninth radio play and now this,  I'm becoming quite the fan of BBC Radio Plays. Good for the bus ride into the city.

ps: I always loved the Welsh accent but listening to Gareth David-Lloyd on my mp3 player? mwrar hawt!

radio plays ftw, ohgodohgod what am i doing?, the eagle, torchwood, nerdy

Jack Harkness makes the world a better place XD

Dude yes! And in the second episode of the Radio Play Ianto just admits that he loves him but that Jack will have to leave him eventually and it's so sweet! And then they make a joke about the Sex Pistols and Jack's sex pistol and I guffawed. And Gwen breaks a frozen dead guys hands off and it's HILARIOUS! I always think it's funny that the actors were just standing around a sound booth recording it all :-)

I didn't know that BBC made "The Eagle of the Ninth" radio play...how is it?

This will show me up. I was too lazy to BUY the book so just LISTENED to it instead. The radio play is actually really enjoyable. It was my first so I didn't know what to expect but I thought it was well done. It was broadcast a few years back. I think I found it through piratebay.

The Torchwood bit or the Eagle of the Ninth bit? Or both?

Yeah well, me neither until very recently. Then I spent a rather enjoyable few hours yesterday listening to the dulcet tones of one Gareth David Lloyd. Eve Myles also sounds fantastic but JohnB struck me as a little wooden. Maybe he couldn't ham it up in a sound booth?

Radio Plays are by a great thing to listen to whilst doing housework/exercise. Very distracting.

I was out all weekend so I'll go home and upload the Eagle radio play for y'all :-)

both!!

I had an audiobook by Gareth several years ago and it was perfect.

YES I'M THE SAME. PODFICS, AUDIOBOOKS AND RADIOPLAYS ARE MY DRUG OF CHOICE.

hey chick do you pirate bay? I found the Torchwood radio plays on there pretty easy (The Lost Files) and then just searched Torchwood under Audio and found a couple of others and a few audio books (all read by the cast which is pretty awesome).

I then of course RAN OFF AND DOWNLOADED MIRACLE DAY. Torchwood fandom is back baby yeah!

Anywho, if you don't PB I can upload the TW Radio plays if you want.
