Wow, so yeah. I bake. A lot. It's a borderline addiction. I seriously can't go a week without spending time in my kitchen with my buddies called flour, butter and egg. Without them I start to shake uncontrollably and scratch at my arms to GET THE ANTS OUT!
You know how most people, when bored or in need of somthing to do, watch tele or go for a walk or write porn? I bake.
Heh I love baking, mostly cupcakes and cakes and bread. I bake my own bread every week, but I don't bake cakes too often. Mostly because I have trouble eating all of them on my own, but also because I am lazy.
MARRY ME! NOW DAMMIT! GET ON THE NEXT FLIGHT TO CANADA AND COME BE MY CIVIL UNION PARTNER RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND WOMAN!
We would be so happy and fat together.
I need to work on my bread skillz. Remember the burnt french toast/steak fiasco from the weekend? That was homemade Chocolate and Orange bread THAT WAS AWFUL so I cut it up and drowned it in egg and milk AND RUINED IT SOME MORE BY ACCIDENT.
Ah - it is a Banana muffin issue you have. Not bananas in general. Hmmm okay.
...you realise I wrote appalling right? Not appealing. I think once, when I was younger, I found out the calorie content of a slice of Carrot Cake and since then that's all I can see when I think of CC. Cream Cheese Icing FTW though! That stuff is incredible.
Chocolate cookies you say? I did homemade oreos once. DUDE IT WAS LIKE THE MOST INTENSE SUGAR RUSH EVAH AND PROBABLY CONTAINED A FULL DAYS WORTH OF CALORIES IN A BITE BUT IT WAS INCREDIBLE AND SO SO WORTH IT!
Maybe we can swap (I'll leave a cake in the kitchen for when you arrive) cause I would LOVE to get to Scotland.
My kiwi parents are about to traipse around your pretty country in like....a couple of days. And my aussie parents are spending three weeks there doing book research in September. Jealous!
