Hmmm isn't that a ScottishFAIL! Aren't you the home of porridge?
(FYI: You would totally eat these, the oats make up something like 1/8th of the ingredients. The rest is flour and sugar and whatever you throw in like raisins and dried apricots. I tell myself they are healthy cause the word 'oat' is in the title.)

that is a massive Scottish fail. The only good thing I've ever done with porridge was mashing my brother's face in it.

I WISH! There is one good thing about my roommate and I both SAVING like crazy people (I'm off to Vegas in two weeks and she's off to Toronto next month) = we have a tiny grocery budget which means our fridge is full of green veges, our fruit bowl full of fruit and that's kind of it. We are borderline vegetarians at the moment :-( I wanted carbs so bad last night..hence cookies!

*blush* erm yeah I did. My first ever fic and it started with a hiss and a bank and then RL turned up and then I was all ohmygodohmygod HOW DO FAN FICTION WRITERS DO THIS!??!?!
And then I got distracted by podficcing which is WAY EASIER. I mean, srsly - someone ELSE has already done the writing!
Silje was very motivational the other day on skype and methinks I will tackle the FICTHATISEATINGMYBRAIN and get it finished. As a slash fan I do find it frustrating when you get really into a WIP and then it just stops (hello Briton Empire Au) so that is my goal for the weekend.
