I let my ex-husband keep my dog, Pharaoh, after our divorce, but quickly discovered that I NEEDED another dog to fill the void. I decided this time I was going to actually rescue a dog instead of buying a puppy from a breeder, and I am intensely happy that I went that route.

Very cute! We got a (shelter!) pup since you left-and-came-back. I seem to be turning into a crazy dog person myself... He's a dachshund mix goofball head.

I never really had an opinion on rescue dogs before, but I am so very glad I decided to adopt. :)

Almost no one catches the Cowboy Bebop reference. I named him, and I've actually never seen the show, only heard about it and the Corgi in it. :)
