I'm still giddy my Star Wars reviews are being published on Club Jade.

I used to submit my fanfic to them, guys. Go here, scroll down on the "other stories" sidebar until you see THE ONLY "Mara Jade Skywalker." Yup--that was me at 14. :)

Don't say writing never gets you anywhere, kids. I'm being promoted on one of the biggest fan sites to one of ( Read more... )

Writing + Star Wars = never turn your back on it. That's the way I view life. =D

I embrace my fanfic-writing days. Everyone has to start somewhere. ;)

And, if we're honest, anyone who writes Star Wars books is writing long fanfiction. =B

Haha, I think it involves a little more than that, but I get the sentiment. ;)

My name is Sarah and I wrote Zekk/Jaina fic when I was like...13!

I haven't written much of anything lately. A few unfinished pieces here and there. But I've been on a huge Star Wars kick lately and re-reading a lot of the books, as well as scoping out some fic. (I refuse to read what I wrote when I was 13, because...ugh. Yeah. Not good)

Hello, Sarah! I don't write fanfiction anymore. I did for a year or two back, but that was it. Now I write poetry and book reviews. ;)

WOO-HOO!!

Very nice :D I confess I don't read or write fanfic but I can understand the appeal. I'm still a fan of the old SW movies - the new ones, not so much, though I wanted to like them more than I did. Too much computer crap.

I haven't written any fanfic since then. Mostly that's because I invested in wish fulfillment that the books eventually delivered anyway. It was also because I began writing my own things and sort of "grew out" of my desire to continue with fanfiction. :)

The original trilogy is definitely still the best! Although, the last half of "Revenge of the Sith" still pleases me. :D

Aww, that's so sweet (meaning the sentiment, not the fanfiction. I haven't gotten around to reading that, and at this rate, probably never will.)

Glad to hear your obsession love for Star Wars has taken you somewhere good. Hope it does the same for me.

Thank you!

The gentle sarcasm wasn't meant to offend so I'm glad you liked it! ;)

I don't think you're missing anything not reading fanfiction. I wrote some for about a summer, lost interest and went on to other things. I couldn't stand reading any now. I was very picky, even back then.

I hope Star Wars delivers for you, too! :D

Ha-ha, I put my hand to writing Star Wars fanfiction at one point. I haven't written any in a while, but I do intend to return to the project(s) at some point. Half because I have these really amazing (in my opinion) ideas that I want to get out there, and half because ... well, you know my opinion of the current state of the EU.

That I do! ;) Usually, those are the reasons people write fanfiction. It's all wish fulfillment, really. There's nothing wrong with that. :)
