I keep seeing that cover around the internet, and it always grosses me out. Zombies are interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of gore.

One needs subject MAs to be an academic librarian? Well, blargh. Not that I'm against working in other types of libraries, but I wanted to have that option open.

It's a pretty disgusting cover. I don't like gore, but I love Star Wars so I forced myself to read it. There are some pretty disturbing scenes in it.

That's what I've been reading! I know you can get an MLIS degree specializing in Academic Librarianship, but I saw some places require you to have the subject MA before you can actually be an Academic Librarian. I need to do more research because it was all very confusing.

I am taking that into consideration, thank you. Although right now, distance learning is more feasible for me and is what I'm leaning toward.

As in college?

I hope we both get into those MLIS programs. I really want to go the route of archivist, but it's so hard to research that type of job security.

Yes, Academic Librarians work in University/College libraries. :) I haven't applied to my program yet.. >.<

Hahaha! It took a lot to push myself on this one! Parts of it are so disgusting.
