After getting the family off this morning I returned home and went back to bed. Such a luxury...especially since I napped in The Eldest's bed with an electric blanket.
(I can imagine him as an adult in therapy, Well, my mom used to like to sleep in my bed...) He does have a comfortable bed ( Read more... )

LOL, I couldn't help but sing this as I was reading...

The high school group has some amazing vocalists. Their only problem was attracting enough boys for the roles---they've got a girl playing Oliver but she's fantastic! (and is conveniently built like a 12 year old boy).

I was in a production of Oliver when I was around that age and I had the time of my life. I can still do all the songs, and maybe the dances, lol.

What part did you play? And did you get to wear a cool hat/cap? I think a voice post with you singing your favorites is in order... ;)

Why do backs always hurt? Why do we never get a break there? I think my back has hurt consistently since 1993, lol.

I hope the chiro helps.

The theater set looks great! A T shirt is a pretty sweet deal. :-)

IKR? Perhaps our backs didn't evolve quite as fast as they should have? We should still be running on all fours, lol.

I've always found relief from chiropractors but I still dread going to them. Crack!

I was very flattered with the shirt---it looks like a rock band touring shirt!

I think I still have an ape-like posture sometimes, lol.

A rock band touring shirt is excellent! What's the front look like?

It has a graphic with silhouetted figures on it and says "Oliver, the musical 2010". Very cool.

Once I had a job as an auditor for 'flexible medical spending accounts.' I've approved your purchase as a qualifiable expense.

You inspired me with your creative brains + hands + effort ♥.

Thank you for your approval...I've still got $$$ to spend---contemplating over-the-counter meds: aspirin, sudafed, bacitracin... Wha'cha think?

YOU inspire me---have you been writing???

Spread out your over-the-counter purchases between now and end of year. We are obligated by tax law to deny flex money for one type of item purchased in quantities of 3+ on a single day. It's classified as stockpiling. But yes, get the otc stuff! It adds up.

Yes. I've been writing my application forms to Canada since yesterday. For creative writing, I'm doing Nano this year again so there are words - currently withholding judgment on the quality of those words.

I zoned out after "electric blanket" but the pictures are pretty.

WHAT? It's freakin' COLD HERE.

I seriously could have stayed under that electric blanket ALL DAY. I need to have one made into a jacket with a battery pack. Wow, that's brilliant...

I heard they're predicting snow flurries tomorrow night.

SRSLY. I think Columbia has something just like that, but it doesn't need batteries. (HELLO. WANT.)

And oh no they are NOT. NOT. READY. FOR. SNEAU.

WTF BIKINI GIRL SNOW ANGEL!!!! That's taking things a little too far...

I looked at my sad collection of sweaters this morning and decided I need to SHOP! Or go around in a snuggie.
