'Reading the Black Magician trilogy (on the 3rd now)'

Is it any good? I read as many dodgy reviews as good, so I wasn't sure whether I should read it or not, what with there being so much to read... and my limited spending ability...

Well, I happen to be enjoying it.

But, a lot of the books I've read you've trashed. :P

It is heavy of character thoughts, it bounces around between a few main characters as they do and think different things. Once I've done reading it, I could probably sum up the whole plot on about 5 mins. However, it does just about enough to keep you in it all and it's interesting to see all the logic behind why the characters do what they do and how they think things out.

I guess it's nice for a wannabe psychologist like me. So, up to you.

I've bought all 3, but they are on 3 for 2 now in Waterstones and also Otakers in Ormskirk (10% student discount).

I saw Mach in Ormskirk when I was with Dan and Doyle- he said he'd been at Westhead and we sorted kit out for him but he didn't show.

Congrats to your dad.

My party is on the 3rd August in the afternoon. Pretty much the same as last year as I like the sitting and talking aspect.
