I think I've decided to write a book. I’m not really sure if I absolutely want to or not. I guess that’s because I’m not really sure what this book of mine would be about. When we first moved here I thought that maybe I’d write a teen’s guide to becoming an ex-pat in the middle of high school, but then I sort of realized that all you need to do is ( Read more... )

I just spoke at you while you replied in spurts. Then I read your latest entry. Guess you must be feeling fine.
From your thoughts on food and how it relates to the person....are you saying that people who don't like lots of different kinds of foods or particularly take food to be a comfort are, are........ shallow? There are other reasons for being less adventurous in the food category.
I'll try to call back before 2. If no answer, I'll not leave a message but will try back tomorrow (Friday - my time) / tonight (your time). Sweet eyes.

No, that's not what I meant at all. Maybe it says more about exposure..or just plain tastes. Oh, and on the phone I was trying to tell you that there are lots and lots of places here that you and Josie will be able to eat at. The only one you might have a problem with is the Indonesian restaurant, but Sate is pretty regular stuff, just chicken on a stick really so you'll be fine.

Sate seems fine as do some of the other things on your parents' lists of food items and descriptions. I think that list needs to be printed out and then filed in my Jakarta file that I'm bringing with me! In 3 days I'll be mostly packed and frantically running around looking for this and that to shove into my bags, last minute! Haven't heard about Josie and the passport this morning. She is to be there right now so she's in line I would imagine! Say a prayer!
Sweet eyes!!!
