Need a new mug?
Make your own with your favourite animal off the cover of the O'Reilly books on the side!*

* For the not-so-geeky, this is any programming book called '[BLAH] In A Nutshell', among other titles.

You're only a true geek if you can name all the animals used. You're an ubergeek if you can match the animals to the books :)

Yeah, that discounts me! :)
Being javaboy32, I only ever had my head buried in 'Java In A Nutshell', and not any of the others. As such, I am extremely familiar with the endangered and possibly extinct Javanese Tiger. Just not anything else. :)

Camel = Perl
Llama = Yacc (I think)

That's all I can remember.

I still like how the "XP Annoyances" book had a Surinam toad on the front.

Because nothing reminds you of Windows XP more than having an entire platoon of tadpoles bursting out from under your skin?

I reckon it should've been a bot fly. Having a machine running Windows is like having a bot fly larva... you know something feels wrong, occasionally something wiggles, things become bloated, swollen and infected, and eventually all hell breaks loose.

Come to think of it, you could make an argument for any decent parasite. Ringworm? Leeches? Candiru?
