Great band. Aren't ya glad I introduced you? I'd probably be on a similar kick, but my roommate is still asleep and her door is open. I have to be quiet. Otherwise I'm in a Tool/Slipknot mindset today.
*hugs* I feel ya honey. My head is the same way. I started that piece I really liked on Thursday. When I tried to finish? The words just won't come out the way I like it. I have a beginning I like though.. So that's a good start?
I know you're struggling and I wish I could help you. My problems aren't helping your problems and vice versa, it's an endless cycle of ick between the two of us. I know we will find our way out though.
You know how my week has been. It's been ugly in my own head and I'm still battling the demons. I'm feeling a bit better I suppose.
I loves you honey and I hope I can help clear some of that ick from your brain this weekend <3
I'll come back and link music once I'm on my computer perhaps.
Wow. That sounds pretty dreadful. Sorry, mister. :( <3
Lessee...this week down and then up, and I'm mostly riding the up-wave at the moment.
I've spent yesterday and today plowing through this piece I've been writing in memory of Cody, and GOOD LORD IT'S LIKE PULLING WHISKERS FROM A WALRUS. It's going one phrase at a time. I think I just don't want to be done with it. By the end it may be the toughest piece I've ever finished. Wish me luck! I was hoping to have it done before I head out at 1:45. That's only another 90 minutes away. Hrmmmm.
I hope the gunk goes away so you can get back to your happy writing place. Something you might try is sitting by yourself in deliberate quiet/stillness for 30 minutes, no writing or doing anything--just sitting.

I did finish it. All body parts still intact. Heh.
And now it's one of those awesome winter-SF gray days and I'm like, DOES STARBUCKS HAVE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES YET?
Alas, it is still July. At least six weeks till pumpkin spice returns. Peet's has them, but they're not as good.
And...I'm off to work again! WOOHOO!!! *insert maniacal cackling*
