I love this. It was very well-written, believable (a lot of crossovers aren't), and I want more! I was so involved in the story that I was surprised that it ended before he could save her and the day and destroy the Dollhouse. :)

Excellent job!

I'm so glad you liked it! The prompt called for an angsty, whistful ending, so that was what I went for, though I may be interested in revisiting this story later and see these two take down Rossum together. Thank you so much for commenting!

Seriously, Topher and Garcia need to have their own show together. I love the way you wrote their exchange with Topher doing his usual cocky routine (despite his fear of Adelle's wrath and Garcia's skills), and Garcia acting like the superior geek that she is!

The encounters between Echo and Reid are so sweet and warm, but there's always that air of danger to them since obviously, they're not supposed to know of each other or be in contact. I love Reid's awareness of what Echo has been through and his determination to treat her respectfully.

Spencer was gentle. Echo knew he would be, because this was rare for him, and special. But knowing he would be was nothing like feeling it, gentle, patient, and hesitant. He was reverent with her, treating her as something precious, always looking to her to see what she liked, what she enjoyed. She was a puzzle to him, and she let him take all the time he needed to figure her out.

Perfection.

But this is my absolute favorite part:

“I have a lot of people in here,” she said, tapping the side ( ... )

The Topher and Garcia show, coming to a network that doesn't yet exist, unless you can hack into it! Those scenes were too much fun to write, lemme tell you.

I loved the idea of head!Reid being helpful, and I'm glad you did too! Together, they can do anything.

This was really interesting to write, and I loved doing it, so I'm very, very happy that this worked for you. :)

Your writing is always well-done and your characterizations great, but I'm still amazed by how much I like this idea :D The premise behind Dollhouse gets creepier each time I think about it and you used it brilliantly in this crossover. What a scary thing, to have your mind copied! But also how fascinating, what copying a mind like Spencer's might do to a Doll. I love the pairing here, love the Garcia and Topher interaction, and love the concern the BAU has for Spencer :)

Thank you! Spencer does have the most beautful mind, and figuring out what that much brainpower would do to a Doll was really interesting.
