“There’s a cow.” perdiccas September 13 2010, 04:16:55 UTC
OH. MY. GOD.

This is so beyond perfect, I'm just sitting here like a crazy, grinning giddy person. AND I have a cinnamon danish so it's literally the best morning I've had this year.

THIS IS SO PERFECT. I love how you write Luke! I love Peter and Olivia's horror at how Bennet & Danko do things in their division. I love how Luke and Walter get on like a house on fire (but not literally XD).

I want to wrap this story around me and roll around on the floor in it, it's so perfect and wonderful. THANK YOU!

I'd love to see what Olivia and Broyles would do to Bennet and Danko. The reparte would be rather epic.

I'm so very glad you like the story! I really liked doing the banter between Peter and Olivia and Peter and Luke. They bounce off each other marvelously! And Walter, in his manic mode, is really, really, fun to write.

And yay to the best morning ever!!!!!!

WALTER!!! I love it. Love it. Love it! Of course he'd think a kid being able to melt someone's watch into their skin is the best thing ever. I love the scene where he's examining the poor clerk.

Instant recognition from Peter. The way he sees himself in Luke's actions is so good. I adore it when you let the characters who feel lost and isolated connect with each other.

And Luke leaves a candy paper trail! And... yep, "Sylar?". Have I told you lately that I love you?
He even runs to the door. Oh, baby, could you be any more obvious? Break my heart will you.

Jean! And Luke might think Walter is pretty cool, right? Of course he does, he gets a kick out of people living on the edge of sanity.

“This is like, the coolest time I’ve ever been arrested” XD

“It’s shit,” he muttered. “I’m shit. Can’t even fucking rob a store.”

“Friend,” he repeated, his tone dripping with contempt. “Fuck, if only.” Heart. Breaking ( ... )

(Thanks for the catches! All fixed.)

Peter and Luke had some great chemistry, and it just got better as it started. The show has been lovingly coy about exactly and precisely what shennanigans Peter got up to during his misspent youth, but it had have been epic. And Peter, at least, we know is a some kind of genius. Luke never had any of his potential nurtured until Sylar came along, and then it all went so wrong for him. Poor baby. He broke my heart too.

Walter and Luke were awesome together. A living science experiment with Dr. Frankenstien. Hee hee!

So glad you liked it!

Eeeeeeeee!
This was so spot on!
I loved every minute of it.
If ONLY Luke could be picked up by the Fringe folk!

Great characterization and good insight into Luke's character.
(( And now, perhaps, I will have to watch more than two episodes of Fringe. ))

Luke could have answered so many questions from the Fringe team! Mostly because, you know, he'd never shut up.

I'm so very pleased you enjoyed it! (And I hope you enjoy the rest of Fringe. It just gets better.)

Ha! Yes, Luke with someone who wants to hear what he has to say? He'd be in heaven.

I really enjoyed how enthusiastic he was about helping Walter with his experiments.
