Wow this is chilling. It's wonderful-it seems plausible as a result of what happened at the end of the last season. I especially loved Matt Parkman in this-he's such a nice guy and you portrayed him wonderfully.

Matt Parkman has been getting the short end of the stick for at least seventy-five percent of the show. He's really a decent guy, and it killed me see him be forced into that position in the S3 finale.

I figured this was you!

It's strange, canon!Claire/Sylar creeped me out, but this, the way you write them, they could be a new OTP for me... It was very gorgeous. I loved the setting, the way they fit together, and Claire's quiet strength and darkness.

I have to mem this.

Oh, you know... establishing a setting right from the beginning (a bit AU, but still very plausible - often with the emotional aspects of the characters being very important) that works as a building point for the rest of the story. And the fic had a dark, sharp edge at the same time as the overall tone lead to a more hopeful, satisfactory ending. Does that sound weird?
How very well written it was:) And the language was so beautiful and had this certainty behind it, no hesitation. That's you, bb.

Very glad you liked it! I think Claire does have a great capacity for strength, but the show has a lot of other people contending for the Badass position. 'Tis what fanfic is for, doing what the show can't.

A Sylar POV would be an interesting companion piece to this story. I'll keep it in mind!
