Wow, that's an awesome story! I'm not familiar with Grimm and somehow between reading the header when you posted it and getting around to reading the story today, my mind slipped "Fables" in instead of "Grimm". I read the first fifty or so issues of Fables and an equal number of spinoffs, but not nearly all of them so I figured Monroe was just a side character. Fables had a lot of those.

They made a good little group! Fascinating world, too.

I'm so very glad you liked it! Grimm is a really great show - well-written, with plot outside the monsters of the week. Monroe is a real highlight of a character as Nick's connection to the world alongside our own (where fairy tale creatures exist, living alongside us, looking just like us... most of the time).
