yeah, i realize this. but, what about the other side effects?

killer robots help keep american casualties down, but american casualties is what most americans pay attention to. as long as our soldiers aren't getting blown up, this war (and whatever wars are down the road) is a whole lot easier to swallow for a lot of americans.

then there's the idea of whoever's controlling the robots abusing this power. you're controlling a robot with a gun from a safe distance. what's to stop you from doing whatever you want with that gun?

and if the middle east was pissed at us before, this is really going to infame anti-american sentiments. not only are we occupying their country, they'll say we're too cowardly to do it with actual people, or something like that. and wasn't al-qaeda already anti-technology?

i think you misunderstood. i don't want americans to die. and i don't want iraqis to die. i don't want anyone to die. and as long as we have these things in there, people are going to die. and nobody's going to pay attention to what we're doing. just like in the late 90s with the bombing campaigns of afghanistan. not that many people knew it was happening. i didn't know about it until a couple years ago.

i think this is going to make war seem more fashionable, more cool, whatever, and that's a really dangerous thing to have happen.

They don't even have an ARMY. This is total guerilla warfare. Why the hell does our military feel it even NEEDS these?
