Haven't heard a lot about Bruce Mutard's new graphic novel, THE SILENCE (Allen and Unwin 2009) in the couple of months since it's been out, but it's a terrific book that deserves attention.

I saw that and I'm keen to read the whole thing in book form. I haven't ordered one yet but I'm getting to it--I've been up to my eyeballs in deadlines since I got back from Japan until... well, yesterday, actually.

Bear in mind that it took me months to post this review; I got an advance copy of THE SILENCE in _June_.

Yes, I flicked through the pre-release that Bruce brought along to one of the meets earlier in the year, but have as yet to actually buy the thing now that its out. It looks amazing.

Definitely on my 'to get' list.
