New Marie Antoinette ORIGINAL Painting, Last Leaves Drawing, etc....
Hi everyone!
I have an AWESOME big new painting tonight up for auction (Marie Antoinette!), as well as a new original DRAWING (oswoa sized - the Last Leaves). Very cool stuff!
First off is "Marie Masquerade" - a glorious painting - all READY TO HANG - no framing needed. She's likely inspired by my recent artist retreat to France - Marie Antoinette - the doomed queen, dressed with her over-the-top glory - sailing ship hair adornment - magnificent hairstyle, lush makeup and her not-very-concealing masquerade mask! I love this painting, it really looks awesome in person. It is an original acrylic painting on GALLERY STYLE CRADLED MASONITE - Matt has added a hanger on the back, so it is READY TO HANG! No frame needed! Basically it's like masonite, but with deep wooden sides, known as "gallery style." Of course you can always add a frame if you want (gallery profile), but she looks awesome by herself too. I've painted the wooden sides a glossy black, so it looks pretty sharp. This really is a lovely painting - and she is up on eBay starting at just ONE PENNY with no reserve for a 7-Day auction ending the evening of Thursday, July 31st at 7:23PM Central Time. Next up - due to popular demand - another lovely original drawing in the OSWOA™ size (4"x6"). This is an ORIGINAL DRAWING, not a print of any kind. It is pencil & charcoals on toned cardstock, is 4"x6" and is absolutely beautiful. When I was in France I spent a good deal of time drawing, and realized how much I enjoy it. So here we have a "The Last Leaves Drawing" - up on eBay for a 7-Day auction ending the evening of Thursday, July 31st at 7:00PM Central Time.
