well, so far - this day hasn't been too stellar. :( nothing major but i was SO excited about going to the park today. however it's rainy and dreary outside. maybe it will get better later on today, at least the weather channel is giving me hope. the weather definitely affects what type of mood i'm in ( Read more... )

I totally get the mood/weather link. I have the same issue without a doubt. Even though I know we desperately need rain around here because of the impending fire season, I still don't like it when it rains. A nice short thunderstorm is enjoyable but a rainy, dreary day? Yuck!

And poor Jay! A 20 hour flight? I think I'd be going nuts by the end of that. Hope he has a fun, safe trip!

yeah - it's really crazy HOW MUCH the weather has an affect on me mood. i think that i definitely have some psychosis about it. i'm really hoping that it gets a bit nicer later on so i can at least go for a walk with lucas.

what is nice about jay being in china is that we have exactly a 12 hour time difference. so when he is in his hotel room for the night, he calls. and then tonight, i'll call him and he'll be waking to go to breakfast. :)

I think it's very cute that Lucas thinks that "Jack" means "creature that walks around on 4 legs, jumps up and licks your face, and sometimes says 'woof'."

yes, i think so too. although that could become a bit confusing later on in life so i'm hoping he grows out of it. haha! ;)
