Hm...I never thought of that. At least not while reading it, the symbols. It either must mean I'm very dense, or that you're just a very, very good writer. I think I'll go with the second one. I can't say that the lateness of the chapters affected me, since I only just fond it, but things take time, sometimes. And to be honest, I rather have them take time and be -good- that hurried and poor. If you aimed for a realistic approach, I have to say you managed far better that good. And I agree, your type of story makes much more sense actually, it’s also much more pleasant to read. No ‘go-at-it-like-rabbits’. However, if written well… ;) You shouldn’t worry about whether or not you portrayed Kai and Rei incorrectly, because you’re one of those who manages to balance them in a way without making them seem preposterous. Lovely job, all in all. Hopefully, you’ll continue to write something, anything really, because you’re good at it. Really good. =)
