Holt Facilities Management Records Record Profits Despite Coach Tragedy

Despite losing nearly its entire finance depatment in a tragic coach accident two weeks ago, Holt FM’s chief executive said yesterday the company had announced record profits and are unworried by analyists’ reports of a more difficult time for the industry
James Holt told the Yorkshire Tribune that he was maintaining a "continuous focus to drive productivity and efficiency into Holt" and that the jump in profits, almost double their level in the equivalent quarter of 2007 would help keep the company steady in the current turbulent times for the industry.
He gave tribute to Reapmore Cryostorage, Holt’s parent company, for helping them through the pain of losing so many staff and especially praised Reapmore’s CEO, Grace Charles, for her sympathy and strategic help during the difficult times the company had gone through.
However the company has drawn criticism for laying off the members of other departments who were not involved in the crash as part of Reapmore’s takeover of their entire financial operations. When asked Holt was not willing to make a comment on allegations of unfair dismissal.
