Parties in this place are quite unusual, if they are anything like the last. I did not mingle long; it really has been quite some time since I have been in such a social situation, and old habits die hard. I had the same exact thoughts about what had happened recently.

Now that I have had more time to properly think, I am starting to believe that this is not an event. Unfortunately, I do not have much information myself. It seems that one Harry Mason has been terribly tortured and injured by someone called the Red God, judging by the few journals that have sworn vengeance against him. I do not know what motive would drive him to do that, but it must have been extremely strong.

Probably not. The Duchess is the one that's in charge of most of the events, and crazy or not , she doesn't seem to like it when her 'children' get hurt. Not often anyway.

We have some mental cases in this place to stir up trouble, it's happened before.
