If anything, and I'm sure you've already heard, you could do early retirement at 62. Although I understand this to be 30% less than your full benefit. However it is guaranteed monthly income for what that is worth. I'm not telling you it's what you should do, but do keep it in mind. It's not much, but it may be worth it if you can't hold out, which, who could blame you? The retirement age really should be a single age across the board, and certainly a little lower. But that's just me being young and naïve, since there's the whole issue about the Social Security surplus and whatnot.
Anyway, hope I haven't been counterproductive. Still wishing you all the best.
