I think you should give it a thorough edit before you post it to the IK Boards (let's show the monkeys how it's done properly, Vigilant!), but I've got no issues with it. Well done, sir.

I guess I should get to work on some fanfic of my own...

I loved it. It was a great read. If this were a teaser for a book, I would hate you. Not that I didn't like your writing. I would hate it because I would have to buy the book to read what happened.
