And here's the one who started this whole mess. Tom is doing something vaguely important like trying to decide if a stone is worth the trouble of putting in his pocket and forgetting about or not and he doesn't seem to notice Richhard at all.

Typist: My notifications are failing like mad. I want them to start working again before I pick up another thread with another character; I've got five threads with four different characters as it is. *facepalm*

T: Mine are failing too! Argh.

"She's well, it seems. I think it has done her good to have her husband here, though I have not met him yet."

T: I agree, it should happen at some point. And I'm sure it will, eventually, the way things are going.

"You should. I think you'd get on quite well." Tom is trying to ignore what the gentleman said about Mr. Strange being wicked.

Typist: I look forward to it mightily.

He chuckles. "He seems the very picture of me when I first arrived - a hermit who lives in the library. Of course, I did not have a wife to distract me, either."

He smiles, though he rolls his eyes. "Yes, quite so."

"Oh good. I would hate to see you unhappy."

"I am happy, Tom," he says, a little more seriously.

"So am I. Perfectly happy in everyway."

[jarndyceheir]

"I'm glad." He smiles, falling silent for a time.

"Are you really happy? It's hard to tell sometimes."

[jarndyceheir]

"I am. I still do worry about things, because I can't help it. But that doesn't mean I'm unhappy."

"You should try to stop. Everything is going to be all right from now on."
