This was very yummy. So many beautiful guys. *sigh*

Between this movie and the TV show based on Haney's book coming out this fall, the soldier porn is going to slay us all.

Argh! The Unit, based on Haney's book!

It will be a very rough Fall indeed! Hooray!

I'm impressed. This is an interesting site. You ladies are awesome. And stewardess, you've done a lot of research.

Let me help you out with some updated info if you'd like:

Jamie Foxx's character is now called Staff Sergeant "Sykes."

Lucas' charcter is now named "Krueger," no longer Kuehn.

Travis isn't taking place of one of the characters listed in the book, and his name might have been changed to "PFC Pottinger."

Sam Rockwell plays Swoff's uncle.

You are correct about Jacob, he is "Cortez."

You are correct about Jocko Sims playing a Marine Scout/Sniper.

Oddly enough, I don't know about Kurt Larson.

Tyler Sedustine isn't a young swoff. That's an old picture of him. He plays a pfc as well. If I remember correctly, he has been given the name of "Harris."

I don't know of Byron Brown. DI Burke is played by Scott McDonald, and I think they changed his name to "DI Fitch" for the film.

Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

If you are an anonymous cast member, you should run like hell from here. *g*

Pottinger is a character in the book, so that's good news.

Inserting Swoff's uncle bewilders me.

I suppose everyone would pronounce "Siek" as "Sick." Makes sense to change it.

Why Should I run from here, Stewardess?

Because many folks see fanfiction as copyright infringement. It occupies an uneasy place in the world of books and film. Fanfiction writers never sell their work for that reason -- they share it for free on the Internet.

Not to mention I plan to write a lot of porn. *g*

I'm starting to feel that the movie is going to be worthy of the book...which means it will be very good. *g*

Lucas Black??

OMG, now I feel like an old pervert. LOL.

That convo with AMC is fascinating. I'm so proud to see a slasher describe fandom, fanfic, and slash in such a clear, concise, and reasoned manner. Thank you.
