There is a drawing on the tile in front of me.  A long oval, fatter at the bottom than the top, with a circle in the middle.  There is other graffiti around it, but this stands out to me.  This is special.  It must be a message.

It is drawn in red, while the other drawings are in other colours.  Orange, blue, black...no other red patterns.  ( Read more... )

I tend to skip over the fiction on lj rather than reading most of it, but started reading this post and had to read it to the end. You've clearly got a lot of talent for this.

May take a while to get over the images of the broken glass though (argh for weird phobias).

Thank you.

I think I've been reading a few too many Stephen King stories recently. I don't know if you've read much of his stuff, but he tend to take a weird idea and just focus on it. Like the one where someone keeps seeing the same pair of shoes under a bathroom stall.

I was reading an article on TV Tropes about putting symbolism in absolutely everything, and then I thought of a crazy person who saw symbols everywhere, and hidden messages. Apparently, there are quite a few other short stories on that theme.

The way the symbol is left ambiguous until the last paragraph is very King-esque.

A nice little story, and I am a massive tie enthusiast.
