Well, I can only guess from context what "this happened" was, but a friend of mine and myself did ""something stupid" as well a while ago. We call her Haille now, and she's wonderful.

You can talk to people online and still make sure that you give them value. Many people are just so self-focused that they drop people as disposable at a moment's notice. It's not completely do to an Internet filter. Perhaps, it's due to way the World has technologically & economically evolved and we've socially devolved towards each other.

I feel bad that I can't read the "this happened" due to filters at work, so I feel like my reply is a bit stunted!

In terms of the 'being a loner' thing though, I think I know how you feel. It's difficult finding people who will be good friends whilst understanding you might not always want to be around them that much.

I hope you don't feel sad about it all too often.
