New Icon... and other stuff

I have made a new ICON for the intention of it being used for the THEM group. I will have to send E-Chan the picture so she can use it for here info page of the T_H_E_M community. Not a bad picture but when reduced in size so much it looks kinda grainy. Oh well

I can very much relate to how you're feeling about not wanting to have an impact on anyone's life. I am feeling like that's the way I need to go. I need to start putting up walls so I don't hurt anyone anymore. But I don't think it's in my nature to do that.

I don't think it is a good way to be. I would even go so far as to say that I don't think it is a healthy way to be. It is more just how I am. If you can find some balance in your life, then you don't need this sorta thing. I though am all kinds of whacked out... :P

You sound so much like me. One of the best things about LJ for me is meeting people so like myself...I use to always think that I was so weird, lol!

I honestly don't know how these people can put up with the kinda person I am that sorta push people away and makes it difficult to know me (and yet not, in a way)

That sums me up very well. And wanting the best of both...yes that too. One thing that I tend to do is only have 1 friend that I feel safe with and then live the life of having friends sort of vicariously through them while still staying safe myself.

I do think that whatever truly feels best for you is ok though. Sometimes it is easy to feel that we *should* socialize more simply because society seems to say that it is right. At the same time, there is a sort of bored loneliness that takes over from time to time when you isolate yourself too much.

This is the part that I am having trouble with more often... the bordom.

I consider myself forturate to have met you outside of this electronic realm and to have known you long before you came here. I like you have few friends but those I do have I am fiercely loyal to, even if I go long periods without seeing them. We have many thing in common my friend. I for one can honestly say that you are a stablizing force in my life have never brought any negatives into my life.

Just remember. The server name you want to use is VIRTUE! (Ironic in a way that I am on it, no?) :P

So when you get it, and all that stuff is sorted out. Make a character on the Virtue server, and look for me.

Truth be told I never use this name or my alter-ego's name for online gaming. The name is dependant on the powers he does/will have.

Well you can sorta do some reseach at the official boards. They are at:

You may need to create an account with them, and a log in name and all that. Yet I don't think you have to buy the game before signing into this board. Not entirely sure on this, but I believe they have some open parts to read.

They have some handy guides to powers and what not.

Another good place to do research is at:
http://coh.warcry.com/

In any case, they have a fairly wide diversity of powers available, and a large number of character types can be played.

What kinda super hero were you thinking of playing? I could give suggestions.

At any rate, my characters names are in my user info for LJ, and I update it enough that it is pretty current.
