Whaaat the fuck? I can't read the original, I guess JournalFen is down or something. Regardless, I just don't understand people. It's not fucking privilege. If they feel that, then they must think people in a wheelchair needing a ramp just to get in buildings is also privilege?

Isn't the entire point of a summary to give people an idea of what they are about to read?

Because a warning is hard to put on the cover of a book/fanfic /sarcasm. Come to think of it some of the stuff I've read could of used one, I mean...Gonna pop up a lot in Torey Hayden or Jodi Piccoult stuff.

I mean who cares about spoilers, I think people's serious feelings are more important here O_o. Wtf @ privelage.

I know it's an inconvenience but some authors/publishers will display little warnings to their readers. Like, if you've ever read the inside flap where all the publisher's info is, they usually list categories the book is filed under, in like, the Library of Congress or something. Of course I know most people probably don't read books as obsessively as I do but I always thought it courteous of authors/publishers to do, like the warning for food allergies on candy packets XD

It is like food allergies, yah. I think giving a little bit of spoilers is at least worth it, you could say it contains X without giving the circumstances so there wouldn't be much 'real' spoilers there.
