I just zoomed through every last one of those (spoilers? who cares!) and thoroughly enjoyed them. Thanks for putting the links here!

I often wanted to smack Rachel. I always felt that she was very self-righteous, rather than good... and even though she did an enormous part of what she did for her family, both pre- and during the show, I never loved her in the episodes I saw.

Nora was awesome, as you say, from the first moment.

No idea who Drexel is/was.

And also, no wonder you love Bass so much! I mean, besides the obvious of half-naked man fighting for entertainment (shades of Wolverine) watched by mostly naïve but still sorta tough girl (shades of Rogue). Ha! :)

And yes, the Wolverine/Rogue parallels are far from lost on me. I suspect that's why I fell for Revolution so hard. Except - Miles is as much Wolverine to Charlie's Rogue as Bass is ... Miles shapes her into the warrior, then by the time she goes after Bass, she's still young, but no longer naive.

And I should have warned you about the spoilers - it's pretty thick with them. Sorry?

Movie Wolverine's not the only guy who shaped Rogue... so did Magneto. Mua ha ha. *ahem*

Don't even sweat the spoilers - I knew what I was getting into, since you've finished two years of a series of which I only saw about half of S1!

Miles as Magneto? I did a doubletake at that thought, because the Miles/Bass relationship, now I think about it, is very much like Professor X and Magneto ... without the more clearcut moral boundaries. (Because the central question you end up asking yourself about Revolution is: who's the REAL bad guy? Miles or Bass?) Whereas Professor X may have employed some dodgy tactics, but his morality is definitely a shade whiter than Magneto's.

And lets not swirl in the madness that is shipping all of those individuals. Makes my head hurt :D
