Writing as revelation

Still on about Cameron's The Right to Write. Chapter 3 is a tiny little chapter, called "Let yourself Listen." To your storyteller within, basically. 5. The Breakfast Club (80s movie). What DID happen at school the week after that day in detention? How did John Bender explain having one of Claire Standish's diamonds in his ear? How did Claire explain it? And who did all of those characters grow up into, now that we're all pushing 40?

Oooooh! I'd LOVE to see a movie like that! They have to get the original cast together and make a movie about a reunion! *is all bouncy*

But what if it's a _sad_ ending? Bender's life can't turn great overnight, can it?

Alison is a graphic designer somewhere, with her giant purse full of stuff. She has to freelance because it allows her to travel at the drop of a hat, which somehow gives her comfort.

Her only companion is an African Grey parrot named Smith, (after Robert Smith of The Cure, of course) with whom she shares her Captain Crunch cereal. They like to chat and gaze out the window of their apartment and watch the city life skitter by.

It's quiet, but peaceful. It might be time to move again soon.
