Thanks for posting that. I cry every time I hear of an animal being abused. I love that about you, that you understand and cry too!

I always tell myself that she is fine now. Like Cesar says, dogs live in the now. She will not dwell over what happened. She doesn't have baggage. Only we do.

So, don't shed another tear for her. She is safe and well now. She will heal physically. Emotionally, she is probably already healing (if not healed).

Thank goddess for organizations that help these animals and the vets that do the work in HOPE they will get paid.

AMEN.

I love you too honey. I am so glad she is better. IS it wrong to want to kill the bastard who did this to her?

No, it's not wrong. Possibly unconstitutional, but definately not a bad thought.

On a related note, I decomposed during the Dog Whisperer last night because they were rescuing pound-pups in Mexico. In that country, the usual form of euthenasia is electrocution. I was in TEARS.

What's even sadder is that the US vet community will not go to Mexico to humanely euthanize the animals. The opposition to kill shelters (which I share) should not result in dogs being ELECTROCUTED! If you can't save them all, and they are going to die, isn't it better to make that death painless? Sheesh.

I want to adopt them all. I'm tearing up, so I have to stop now.
