I hope it will have better ratings than Smile... I loved it but it was too complicated and deep to be loved from many people. ;_;

kimutaku's drama's rating at 15 is considered worrying?
If it's someone else we can hardly say that it's bad.
But I'm quite sure Jun's new one will get a 15up for the first episode and after that it depends.

Rating isnt alway the think to judge a drama though. This season the only one I really watch is Sunanare with amazing cast and good story. the rating is at 10-11 .... and I think it deserves more that that.

Many people should have seen this coming when the second episode also dropped.

The show is just not interesting. The cast does not make a show. You can have a bunch of A+ stars and actors but if the story/script is not interesting or good, nobody will watch it.

This basic premise applies throughout the world.

We also have to keep in mind that due to the internet, ratings may never be high again because people can enjoy the night and just watch the show when they feel like it rather than being forced to watch at set times of the day.

smile is hard for many people to relate to unless you've unfortunately had such things happen to you or even faced some form of racism or prejudice, so i understand why that had lower ratings, but personally i thought juns performance as Vito was great since he showed us something that would be hard for someone to do having not experienced those things.

I thin it depends on th story line and the peoples reasons for watching, are you watching because the actor/actress is hot? or because they are talented? or because it is interesting?
we also have to consider what they are competing against...

I've noticed alot of dramas recieve low ratings, it makes me surprised to see something recieving ratings in the high teens.

I didn't really like Buzzer Beat that much, but there was something about it that made you want to watch it.
We'll just have to wait and see how this turns out.

No matter how popular the leading actor or actress is, if the story and premise aren't appealing, the series will not be successful.

I find this to be a good thing. I'd much watch a drama with an unknown cast and a good story rather than a mediocre one starring my favorite actor/actress. I'm glad this is getting through the tv execs.

jun had a lot of pressure in his shoulder now
poor him, although this story seems so promosing, i think his role as domyouji will always be his best. people will ALWAYS compare his newer acting to his domyouji :(
