Oh please... there could be all kind of reasons for them to be having a meal... if that's even true.
First, they have worked together not only in Abunai Hokago but also in PIKANCHI (she played Sho's yankee wife).
And if they want to relate it to Masami, how about Masami and Asami are really good friends. This has been a really well known fact since Last Friends, there is many pics of them together out shopping and etc... Maybe Nino was just catching up with a friend and girlfriend's best friend?
