I've heard his poularity has gone down since Akanishi-san left :( even tough he still looks damn sexy, people have a bias cuz they think it's his fault. *sigh* -_- poor guy. . .

If this is abt him not winning this poll, he is not eligible anymore since he has entered the "hall of fame" (alongside w kimura-san n Kusanagi) which means you are forever a best jeanist aft winning it for 5 consecutive years. Him n Koda Kumi won their 5th last year, their nama wont be in this poll anymore. Never heard anything abt his ex-bandmate having such impact on his work or popularity tho. ^^;
