Even though I failed dismally and utterly in responding to my own prompt when it appeared (eyes Amnesty Challenge eagerly), can I post one prompt which persists in nibbling somewhat savagely at me? That way I can justify doing it despite having tons of other stories poking at me!

The prompt is that Jack and Ianto do decide to leave Torchwood and make a new life for themselves. Or some force or agency takes the decision out of their hands. No need to spend ages rationalising it - just take it that they have done and come up with a life they might lead if this happened. What sort of careers would they have? How would they live? Would they acquire a family? Would they still attract trouble like it's their bestest best friend?

Nice prompt. :) I shall certainly see if I can sum it up in a couple of words and add it to the list. ;) (Life After Torchwood, perhaps. Something like that. In any case, the scenario you describe can easily be suited to a prompt worded like that.) Thanks! If you have any more, throw 'em this way!

I'm perfectly happy with that, as long as the other comm is good with it too. The more fic the merrier, as far as I'm concerned. (And I'm loving AUs at the moment, so bring it on. (: )
