Mod Post: Odds & Ends

The year is ending soon and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their participation in our little community! Participation has tapered off the last few months, busy times and all.

I wanted to check in with you all and get your thoughts on a couple of things. First, a quick poll to gauge interest in the continuation of the comm:

While I do not have the time or motivation to write much of the time,I LOVE reading all the entries. This new year though I may try to do some of the challenges. Let's see what the new year brings.

Thank you for the feedback! If you have any ideas for crossover fandoms that might entice you to write, be sure to let me know. Even if I'm not familiar with it, I'll see what I can come up with LOL

While, of course, Torchwood and Doctor Who are my favourite, I tend to like AU stuff. Crossovers I do like, the comm pretty much has them covered. But if I think of any others I'll be sure to let you know.

With nursing school done, I hope to have more time to participate in challenges and things in the coming year.

I definitely plan on participating this coming year, since I have a bit more confidence in handling challenges now. :)

As for crossovers...all my ideas tend to be obscure, so I'm not sure suggesting any would spark anyone's imagination but mine.

Oh yay! You never know regarding the crossovers. If there's anything you particularly want to see, let me know. Sometimes obscure is good!

I enjoy reading the entries for the challenges and would like to participate in writing some this coming year but I can't do it monthly. The plot bunnies frequently run away and it takes time to get them back.

I think Merlin crossovers would be fun. Crossposting your Jantocam announcements to Dreamwidth would be a big help too.

Thank you for your feedback! Not everyone has to participate every month to participate in the challenges. It's just as the muses strike you LOL
There have been quite a few requests for Merlin crossovers.
