Poll War of the WorldsFor those of you who answered "wtf are you talking about?" here's a wikipedia entry. I'm pretty sure a whole lot of people will pick that answer, but I decided to post the poll anyway. I listened to it a lot as a wee kidling, but wouldn't say it was awesome per se. It was just the only sci fi type thing we had in the house.

My dad and brother would probably vote pure awesome though; my dad's gone to see it with the laser show accompaniment.

Richard Burton Voice. The awesome. I keep seeing the DVD of the stage show of the album (you still following this?) in Matalan and then not buying it because there's no price sticker. I think I should just give in to my undying lust for Richard Burton Voice.

Yeah, while they did away with David Essex (and replaced him with a worse performer), they knew they can't replace Richard Burton, pulse or no pulse. So, they just used his recordings from the album. The thing that got me is that they used some sort of CGI face on the big screen to lip synch for him, which is kind of a weird choice.
