A/N: It's 1:11 AM right now, and I have no idea what I just wrote. Plus I'm sick, so my thinking is a little off. It took two hours to finish since the Internet is such a wonderful distraction. Tell me I'm not crazy and I actually wrote something worth reading or I will start going to bed on time so that I won't have such crazy impulses to write really weird stories .-.
Anyway...enjoy? /:D/

“Sungmin! Sungmin help! I can’t find them and I need them and-”

The said boy looked up from his packing and stared, eyebrows raised, at his usually composed roommate (and boyfriend). The evil maknae was running his hands through his hair in frustration, eyes darting frantically all around their shared room.

“Kyunnie, what…?” Sungmin began.

“My lanyard, Min. I can’t find my damn lanyard! I need to make sure I have it before we leave!” snapped Kyuhyun. Sungmin rolled his eyes.

“Kyu, what lanyard are you talking about? Since when do you even wear lanyards?!”

At the questions, Kyuhyun froze. He turned to look at Sungmin, eyes filled with dread.

“No lanyard, what are you talking about? I don’t have a lanyard, since when were we talking about lanyards? Why are we even talking you should get to packing. And hurry up, I’m not waiting for you if we’re late!” said Kyuhyun in a rush.

Sungmin raised his eyebrows again. “Kyu?” he began inching toward the now sketchy maknae. “What lanyard?”

Kyuhyun froze even more, if that was even possible. His head was running a mile a minute, trying to find a way to distract his pink-loving boyfriend enough for him to drop the subject.

“It was a gift from Mimi!” he exclaimed. He slapped a hand over his mouth. ‘Damn it Kyu, you idiot.’

Kyuhyun watched as Sungmin stilled in his motions. He watched as Sungmin’s eyes dulled and then turned cold. He almost shivered when his usually bubbly and happy boyfriend said in an icy tone,

“Well then why don’t you go and get Mimi’s help? He’s in the living room.”

Kyuhyun sighed as Sungmin turned his back and continued packing, this time with a little more bite to everything he put into his suitcase. ‘I’m sorry, Min. But…you wouldn’t let go of the fact that the lanyard I’m looking for is the KyuMin lanyard the fans gave me if you ever found out…’

He walked out the door and into the living room and saw Zhou Mi in all his sunshine-y wonderfulness sitting on the couch. Zhou Mi, recognizing the expression on Kyuhyun’s face, beckoned him over and put a comforting arm around his shoulders. No words were said. Kyuhyun groaned and buried his face in his hands.

Back in the room, Sungmin was biting back angry tears. ‘Damn you Cho Kyuhyun,’ he cursed in his head. He had just turned around to pick up another pile of clothes to set in his suitcase when a black something, dangling out from under Kyuhyun’s pillow, caught his eye.

He walked over to Kyuhyun’s side of the room and pulled the dangling thing free. ‘Oh, would you look at that, it’s the damn thing Kyu was looking for. That boy needs to get his eyes checked, I swear.’ He took a closer look and his eyebrows flew up once more. Sewn onto the fabric of the lanyard were his and Kyuhyun’s names, followed by the words, “Joy is KyuMin”.

‘Joy is…KyuMin? Gift from Zhou Mi, my perky little ass! Damn it, Kyuhyun!’ he cursed again, a smile gracing his face. Fist clenched around the lanyard, Sungmin wheeled around and made for the door, completely ready to give his loving boyfriend as piece of his mind. Then he stopped himself and shrugged before going back to packing.

‘I might as well get some revenge first…’ he smirked.

***

And Sungmin did get revenge: Kyuhyun carried all his things and was made to sit as far away from Sungmin as possible. That didn’t stop the maknae from sneaking apologetic and guilty glances at Sungmin from where he sat on the plane (until a fierce glare from the latter stopped him), though.

Sungmin was just waiting for Zhou Mi to get up and use the restroom. Finally, finally, the endless-legged ball of sunshine did, and Sungmin discreetly stood up to follow after a few seconds. He glanced around to see if he was being watched and saw his boyfriend’s eyes following his every move. Another fierce glare sent the maknae cowering in his seat and Sungmin turned around before his smirk could be seen.

He waited outside the bathroom for Zhou Mi and leapt on the boy as soon as he came out. With a hand pressed against his mouth, Zhou Mi could only squeak in surprise as he himself was pressed up to the wall. He stared down his long nose at the small, smiling, pink puffball.

The said puffball raised a finger to his lips, signaling the taller to keep quiet before removing his hand. “Hey there, Mi,”

“Damn it, Minnie, you almost gave me a heart attack!” Zhou Mi whisper-shouted. “What was that for, anyway?”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Mimi,” Sungmin pouted. “I just wanted to ask you for help with Kyuhyun and this is the only way I could without him burning holes into us.”

Zhou Mi took a glance at their positions, with Sungmin still pressing him against the wall. He smiled and snaked his arms around the smaller, but stronger, boy and said, “Sure, what is it?”

Sungmin grinned and pulled out the KyuMin lanyard. “This,” he began. “This is what he claimed to be a gift from you. He was going crazy looking for this while we were packing and when I asked him what it was, he got all…secretive… before practically declaring that it was a gift from you. But now that I know what it is, I know that it’s not a gift from you since you would rather it say, “Perfection is KyuMiMin” than anything else.”

Zhou Mi’s ever present smile grew bigger and he tightened his hold on Sungmin’s waist. He couldn’t exactly deny that. “Go on,”

“So I need you to drag Kyuhyun around when we land and treat him like he’s single. Attach yourself to him and make it seem like you’re trying to make me jealous. After the group schedules and when we have free time, drag him to a secluded area, but not too secluded that I can’t find you, and kiss him. He’ll be too shocked to process anything for at least a minute.”

Zhou Mi’s smile disappeared (amazingly) and total shock made its way onto his face. “Uhm,” he said dumbly.

Sungmin smirked. “Then I make my grand entrance and interrupt you two, explode on him and run away in tears. Then he’ll chase after me and I’ll get my revenge. You can even follow him up and watch if you want. And I’ll treat you to dinner afterward.”

“But I thought that you’re already getting your revenge!” Zhou Mi exclaimed as quietly as he could.

Sungmin’s smirk turned into a full blown smile. “Silly little Zhou Mi, this doesn’t even count as revenge.”

With that, Sungmin pecked Zhou Mi on the cheek and disentangled himself from Zhou Mi’s long arms. Zhou Mi was left behind grumbling about the irony of being called “silly” and “little” by Lee Sungmin.

***

Things were going according to plan, with Sungmin throwing bitchy little stares at Zhou Mi and Kyuhyun, and the latter two being overly-chummy.

It was getting to Kyuhyun, though. With every little touch he and Zhou Mi shared, he would sneak a glance at Sungmin and worry over the increasing pissed off expressions the other would be sporting. After the group schedules, he was about to go over to the smaller boy and beg for forgiveness when Zhou Mi grabbed his arm and whispered, “Let’s get some fresh air.”

He took one look at Sungmin and saw at once that following Zhou Mi was a bad idea: Sungmin was glaring straight at Zhou Mi’s hand on his arm. However, in the small second of hesitation on Kyuhyun’s part, Zhou Mi was able to pull him over to the exit. By the time Kyuhyun regained enough sense to pull away, it was too late, and Zhou Mi’s grip was too strong.

Zhou Mi did not let go of Kyuhyun’s arm, but he simply lead the latter to a secluded area where they had a view of everything and were still hidden from prying eyes. Kyuhyun slumped against the wall and groaned. Zhou Mi bit back a smirk.

“It’s been a while Kui Xian,” he purred. He allowed his hand to run up and down Kyuhyun’s arm in a soothing manner. “I missed you.”

Kyuhyun sighed before admitting, “I missed you too, Mimi.”

Zhou Mi took his chance and leaned in closer. “How much have you missed me, Kui Xian?”

Kyuhyun gulped and looked Zhou Mi in the eyes. “A lot?” he ventured.

Zhou Mi allowed his smirk to show before closing the remaining distance between his and Kyuhyun’s lips. At that moment, Sungmin appeared, and asked in a deadly voice that was just quiet enough to be heard, “What the hell is going on here?”

Kyuhyun pushed Zhou Mi off of him as hard as he could and the latter stumbled back. Kyuhyun reached out to stop him from falling and ended up with his arms around Zhou Mi’s waist.

Sungmin took one look at their new position, scoffed, and ran back the way he came. Kyuhyun immediately pushed Zhou Mi back, gentler this time, and turned to stare at the said boy. Zhou Mi kept his expression stoic and stared at the spot the pink puffball had disappeared.

“Mi, what the hell,” was all Kyuhyun said before running off after Sungmin. Zhou Mi smiled before following Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun searched frantically for Sungmin. Every member he stopped to ask gave him a judge-y look and refused to tell him anything. Leeteuk wouldn’t even tell Kyuhyun what room Sungmin was staying in. In the end Kyuhyun was forced to ask the concierge for the room number and an extra key card. He raced to the elevators and cursed them for being so slow.

When he finally got up to the right floor, he raced down the hall and skidded to a stop in front of Sungmin’s door. He took a deep breath to prepare himself, and he inserted the card and opened the door slowly.

“Min?” he called out. “Min, are you in here?”

He entered the room and was immediately flung against the wall. Terror in his eyes, he looked down at the force holding him upright. Sungmin was pressing him against the wall, a deadly glare gracing his features. “What are you doing here, Kyu? Why aren’t you with your precious Mimi?”

“Min, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to kiss him, I… He kissed ME!” Kyuhyun exclaimed. Sungmin scoffed.

“Min, please, I really am sorry.” Sungmin didn’t say anything.

“Min?” he tried again.

“NO! Kyuhyun! No. No. Don’t ‘Min’ me, Cho Kyuhyun. Get out of this room and go back to Zhou Mi and let him smother you in more presents and kisses.” Sungmin moved away from Kyuhyun, over to the sliding door leading to the balcony. “Get out.”

But Kyuhyun didn’t listen. With unshed tears brightening his eyes, he followed Sungmin and hugged him from behind. “Minnie, please,” his voice was shaking. “Please, Min, I really didn’t mean it. And Zhou Mi has never given me a gift. Never. I lied about the thing I was looking for back in Korea. I’m sorry, Minnie.”

Sungmin bit back a smirk. “I know.”

Sungmin pulled away from Kyuhyun and walked over to his back pack. Kyuhyun watched in horror as Sungmin pulled the KyuMin lanyard out from one of the little pockets. “I know, Cho Kyuhyun.”

And then Kyuhyun had to duck to avoid getting his face marked by the same lanyard that was suddenly thrown at him full force.

Tomato red, Kyuhyun picked up the lanyard and tried his best to hide it, even though it was pointless seeing as Sungmin already knew about it. He cleared his throat awkwardly.

“Why did you lie about it, Kyu?” Sungmin’s voice was quiet. For the first time since entering the room, Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin’s expression. The boy’s eyes were dark and his brow was furrowed, as if he was trying to figure out an intense math problem.

Kyuhyun sighed and walked over to where Sungmin was standing before wrapping his arms around the latter once more. “Because I knew that you weren’t going to let me live passed the fact that I, the evil maknae, always keep something that our fans made, and that practically declares our love, with me all the time.” He grimaced at the corny choice of words.

Sungmin looked up at Kyuhyun blankly. He closed his eyes and sighed. “Kyubear, you are an idiot. I hope you know that.”

Kyuhyun laughed and pressed a kiss to his puffball’s forehead. “I know. I know.”

They snuggled for a while before Sungmin sighed and walked over to the closet. He whipped the door open and there was Zhou Mi, grinning like a Cheshire cat. “Hello, Mi,” he said.

“Hey, Min. Kyu,”

“Zhou Mi, when the hell did you get into the closet?!”

The said boy tsked. “Kui Xian, you seem to miss a lot when you get all lovey-dovey like that…”

Sungmin smirked and turned to Kyuhyun. “So…you can stay here and wonder how Zhou Mi managed to get into the closet all night, or you can come with me and Mi to dinner. Zhou Mi gets a reward for acting so convincingly, don’t you think?”

If it was at all possible, Sungmin’s smirk grew bigger and Kyuhyun made a mental note to stop him from spending any more time with one Kim Heechul.

He watched as Sungmin turned around and linked his arm with Zhou Mi’s. As they were walking out the door, something in his brain finally clicked. “Min? What do you mean Zhou Mi acted “convincingly”? Sungmin?”

He chased the two down the hallway. When he finally caught up, he saw that they were laughing. “Silly little Kyuhyun,” they said together, and laughed some more at Kyuhyun’s dumbfounded expression.

“Oh by the way, Ming?” Zhou Mi began once they were all inside the elevator. “‘Perfection is KyuMiMin’ would actually make a wonderful slogan, you know.”

A/N 2: Yeah. I'm...Yeah. This was originally meant to be a drabble, a short, little, 50 word drabble. But no. I think I'm incapable of writing drabbles or anything "short" for that matter. It's 1:25 AM right now and I'm about to pass out. Thank God it's Sunday tomorrow (I didn't not almost just write Sungmin instead of Sunday, I didn't .-.) but GDI I have so much work that I've put off so I don't know when I'll be able to get back to any comments that may come up. So uhm...
Just an explanation? I'm absolutely love and adore and ship KyuMin with all my heart. I'm not so much a fan of QMi, but I won't bash it. BUT, I am an absolute whore for QMiMin. I'm not even going to lie. Which explains the presence of Zhou Mi and QMi and QMiMin in the fic when it was originally only supposed to be KyuMin. Can't control everything, right?

On a brighter note, there's only 6 more days until SS3 Manila. 6 more days until I fly out to Manila and scream and spazz and record beautiful videos with my beautiful camera and get stills from the videos instead of wasting my time trying to take a million pictures at once :'DDD
I'm excited, sorry... Anyway... I'll stop now and go to bed ><
