janna_hawkins Summary: "I thought we could finish that discussion we had on top of my ship"

Characters: Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Captain Jack Harkness
Disclaimer: I own nothing related to Doctor Who except my psychic paper, sonic screwdriver and sonic pen :)
Author Notes: Set between The Doctor Dances and Boom Town. We all know what Jack is like and we all also know that he would definitely try something like this. Please enjoy!
Edit: It was brought to my attention by a reviewer on Teaspoon that I spelled the title incorrectly. My apologies.

Rose started as a loud knock sounded on her door. "Yeah?"
"Hey, Rose, it's Jack. Do you mind if I come in? Got something to ask you."
"Sure come on in," she said, not turning from her magazine. She heard the door open and looked up to see-"Oh my gosh, Jack!"
The captain was wearing nothing but a tiny towel and a huge smile. "Yes, Rose?"
"Y-you're..."
"Naked? Why yes, yes I am. I thought we could finish that discussion we had on top of my ship."
"What?! I...no! Just get out and put some clothes on!"
"Aw come on, Rosie, don't be like that!"
"Doctor!" Rose shrieked.
Jack paled and ran from the room, clutching the towel protectively to his waist. A few moments later Rose heard heavy running footsteps coming down the hallway and the Doctor raced through the doorway. "Rose! What's wrong? Did something attack you?"
"Yes, something attacked me," she snapped. "Jack just came in here with nothing but a towel on and tried to make a move on me!"
"What?"
"He tried to kiss me while he was naked!"
"He did what?" the Doctor asked quietly, his face darkening.
"I just said! Now what are you going to do about it?"
"How about I throw him out into the Time Vortex. Would that work?"
"I was thinking more along the lines of dropping him off on Raxacor...whatist."
"Raxacoricofallapatorius?"
"Yeah, the Slitheen planet. Can we?"
"How about I have a talk with him first? Try and get him to forget about flirting with everyone he sees?"
"Oh, alright."
~..~
"Jack? Open up I know you're in there!"
The conman open the door a crack and looked warily out at him. "Yeah, Doctor?"
"Come out here a minute, will you? Got some things to discuss."
The door opened fully and a fully-clothed Jack cautiously stepped out, keeping his hands close to his waist.
"So, I understand that you just paid Rose a visit wearing nothing at all-"
"Not nothing. I had a towel-"
"-And tried to 'make a move' on her?"
"Well, yeah that much is true. But come on, Doc, you have to admit that she's one hot chick."
The Doctor casually pulled out his sonic screwdriver and pointed it at Jack's crotch. "Let me make one thing clear right now, Captain. No one, I repeat, no one is to make unwelcome advances to Miss Rose Tyler without risking permanent harm to their 'equipment'. Is that understood?"
"P-perfectly," Jack stammered, trying to back away.
"Good!" the Doctor said cheerfully. "Now, I'm not saying that you can't flirt with other people but you just stay away from Rose."
"Right. Great. Thanks, Doc. Now, would you mind...?”
The Doctor placed the screwdriver back into his pocket and smiled. "Not at all, Captain. Just remember what I said. Oh yes and one other thing..."
~..~
"And so I apologize from the bottom of my heart if I made you uncomfortable at all with my churlish advances," Jack recited from his position at Rose's feet. "I humbly beg your forgiveness."
Rose grinned and patted him on the head. "I forgive you, Jack. And thanks."
"Yeah no problem, Rose. Now if you'll excuse me I have some work to do." The former Time Agent headed out of the room, picking up a scrub brush and bucket as he went.
The Doctor smiled at Rose from his post next to the door. "Feel better now?"
"Yeah I'm glad we didn't drop him off on Rxacori...Raxacorico...Raxacoricofa-"
"Raxacoricofallapatorius. Honestly, Rose, it really isn't the hardest name to say."
"Maybe for Time Lords it isn't, but for humans..."
"Raxacoricofallapatorius, Rose!" came Jack's voice from the hallway.
"Oh, shut it, Jack! Get back to work!"
"Remember, Captain, all those hallways have to shine!"
"Yes, master," came the sarcastic reply.
The Doctor grinned at Rose. "You know, I think he might just work out if only as a jester."
