Supposed to snow all day. I'll believe it when I see it. It's Thursday-which-is-my-Friday, so I'm happy either way.

Last year I was the Scrooge of my duplex quadrangle because I was the only resident who didn't put up any lights. This year, not so many lights, but I admit, not much holiday spirit here. It's the timing, I guess -- I'm on sort of a two-day cycle: one good day when I kinda feel better, one bad day I spend crying off and on.

( Haven't reached my goal of finishing B&S, and pretty much haven't written anything at all in a bit. )

I think I may be a classic example of someone who has great difficulty handling the conflicting messages we get between rational thought and instinctive split-second judgments. I don't like trusting hunches; I recognize them when I get them, but I will rationalize my way around them.

( Trouble is, you'd think I'd learn by now that the gut instinct is usually correct. In fact almost always correct. )

Not a good dentist visit, not even close. Fuck, I don't even know what else to say.

This week is. Want to thank all of y'all for your replies to my lip-balm question -- instead of answering, I made myself stay up to watch Chuck, and then crashed at 8:30 last night. ::facepalm:: And slept until my alarm woke me up at 6.
