God, I LOVE this 'verse. Don't ever stop writing it, please. I like that Dean is still a good brother to Sam no matter what age he is. Thanks for sharing!

I was so worried about Dean, thinking about how sick he sounded, how this could possibly tie in with the Little Boy Blue stuff, and then it was Dean being sneaky for the best possible reason, because he loves his Sammy.

Honey, I love this so much. Now THAT is how to do hurt/comfort!

YOU GOT ME GOOD TOO, Dean. Honestly, I had no idea what was wrong with Dean, and my jaw just dropped when the surprise party was revealed.

AWESOME. I love this verse so much, and I love what you've done with Sam as Dean's parent. I kind of feel bad for John, because in my head he'd want to look after Dean, do it right this time, but this is your party *g* and you sell John as an asshole so well that I really do buy it. Damn you and your clever writing.

Aw man, see -- this is one of those things, you NEVER know if you managed the surprise well enough until you start to see people's reactions. *yays*

Actually I kinda want to introduce John back into things, in some fashion. I don't mean to make him a TOTAL asshole. Just doing the same sorts of things with Dean as an eight-year-old that he did -- well, in season one, you know? :-/ But I really would like to have him come in somewhere.
